What motivated me to learn coding while creating this portfolio?
Last July, while trying to choose a platform to create my portfolio, I decided to take a risk and code it myself. At that point, I had almost no knowledge about coding. Here is why I did it:
I feel that understanding the process as a whole makes me a better product designer, and a better team player.
Understanding code makes me more aware of guidelines and limitations of design.
But more than anything, understanding code made me aware of the possibilities of design, and how to imagine a truly dynamic interface.
In order to create this portfolio, I learned HTML/CSS/JS and coded it myself from scratch! However, the mobile version isn't complete yet. You can explore the complete experience on your desktop, but here's a preview of what you'll find there.
